Character Building for kids

Building character starts young and helps determine who a child will become in life.

Helping Children find and grow their potential

TROOPS
The Salvation Army has Scouting programs for both girls and boys that we call “troops”.
The goal of our troop programs is to help kids develop:

1. Positive social and communication habits
2. Decision making and life skills
3. Character and leadership .

BASIC  - BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN CHRIST
B.A.S.I.C. stands for Brothers and Sisters in Christ.  We start by showing God's love through our actions by sharing Christ and teach students about loving God and serving others.

Schedule

Troops - Sunday afternoon from 12:30 pm  to 2 pm

Music and Creative Arts -  Monday night from 5 pm  to 7 pm

Teen Night - Friday night from 5 pm to 7 pm

Youth of all ages come through our doors. No matter what the need, we see each child’s potential in life and help them see hope for a bright future.

Our programs help develop a child’s unique personality and individual strengths, based on Biblical principles.

The Salvation Army has more than 400 after school programs in the United States.

Our first priority is to meet basic human needs, but we recognize the importance of programs that go beyond the basics of food, shelter, clothing and safety. In addition to meeting basic needs, The Salvation Army strives to provide programs that will help children thrive during crucial developmental years - from after school programs and summer camps, to childcare and toys at Christmas.
